ABOUT PLEUNIE

Pleunie Buyink graduated from Design Academy Eindhoven in 2014,
following an earlier degree in fashion design at Artemis Rotterdam.

Her background in fashion, interiors and material
exploration continues to shape her work today.
During her graduation project, she developed her signature material,
Limber Gem, a layered composite known for its depth, 
texture and shifting response to light.

Nature remains an important source of inspiration,
influenced by Pleunie’s childhood spent close to the forest.
Organic forms, colour, structure and transformation continue
to find their way into her work in subtle and evolving ways.

By combining experimentation with craftsmanship,
Pleunie creates pieces that move between art,
object and interior, while retaining
a strong and recognisable identity.
